Job Description :
Key Responsibility Areas:
· Chairing BBS (Behaviour Based Safety) group. BBS is a workforce-driven, continuous improvement-oriented safety program initiative taken by BG for inculcating state of the art safety culture in the work force. Also imparting training to new comers and contractors as a Master Trainer.
· Leading a team of 7 Engineers and 5 technicians, involved in Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Plant Electrical, Instrumentation and HVAC systems.
· Officiating as Asst. Manager, as required, managing the Process and Maintenance teams at offshore platform.
· Operation and Maintenance of Gas turbine driven Power Generation and Gas compression units.
· Maintenance of DCS, SCADA and Fire & Gas detection system.
· Week-based execution of Preventive & Corrective maintenance jobs as per Maintenance Strategy Planning (MSP) process adopted by BG. This involves job identification, planning and resource allocation seven weeks ahead of actual job execution.
· Responsible for maintaining PM module of SAP. Maintaining optimum inventory of spares at platform for all electrical and instrumentation related equipments.
· Maintenance planning as per RCM techniques. Routine checking and calibration of various E & I equipments, planning and adhering preventive maintenance schedule.
· Coordination with process to optimize the system performance by doing necessary modification, time to time, in the existing system to enhanced the production in better and safer way.
· Compliance with offshore safety standards, LOTO (lock out tag out) and PTW (Permit to work system) systems. Part of Emergency Response Team in the offshore platform.
· Preparation of Standard operating procedure (SOP) and Task risk assessment (TRA) for all schedule and critical jobs.
· Carrying out RCA of recurring problems.
· Performance appraisal for sub-ordinates.
· Day to day manpower planning and distribution of jobs. Managing different contract crew and overall responsible for their safety at the platform.
· Facilitating validation of the metering system and gas chromatograph.
· Familiar with wellhead operations like well testing, loading and unloading as a part of cross functional training program.

Desired Candidate Profile :
Candidate should be a BE or Diploma
should have offshore installtion experience of 10 to 12 yrs
work location – nigeria
28 days on and off the offshore .
