Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Telecommunications (and the like) from top Diploma / Polytechnic institutes
Work Experience: 0-2.5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of English language with excellent communication skills
Mobility for both within and outside India is a must
Main Functions/Responsibilities:
Production/ Process Improvement
In collaboration with the supervisor ensure the proper use of tools and equipment and suggest improvement for tools, equipment and work stations.
Inform and suggest potential improvements on processes and products and work active with Manufacturing in the evaluation of new products, processes, tools and equipment.
In collaboration with the Supervisor be responsible for implementing new processes and implementing improvements on existing processes
Follow up the need for maintenance of tools/equipment to avoid down times and suggest preventive maintenance.
Inform the foreman on required/suggested maintenance in the facility, request the assistance of âFacilitiesâ when needed and follow up the implementation of the improvements.
Assist the supervisor in the implementation of 6S and lean six sigma initiatives.
Follow up actions from the monthly product quality meetings QHSE
Be active in the evaluation of processes, tools and equipment in relation to QHSE. Suggest improvements that can increase the safety of the activities developed in the area.
Assist in the elaboration of HARCs and collaborate in the implementation of the related action items.
Report hazardous situations by using RIR as main reporting tool.
Quality
Assist the supervisor in the solution of common/usual quality problems. Inform Foreman/Manufacturing when needed.
Assist the supervisor in the training of operators and be the technical support/mentor for operators in new processes
